During a backstage interview at the Alternative Press Music Awards 2015, Andy said that his plan was to work on the Andy Black album and Black Veil Brides's fifth album Vale concurrently. In addition, he stated that he had written about 45 songs for the album and just needed to pick the best ones to record for it.[1]
