Re-Stitch These Wounds is the re-recorded and re-imagined version of Black Veil Brides' debut album, We Stitch These Wounds. Released under the label Sumerian Records, it was produced by lead guitarist Jake Pitts and is meant to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album.
Background
The band had wanted to do a re-recording of their debut album as far back as 2013, when Jake began learning more about music production. Andy has stated that when listening to the original album in his car for the first time, he felt that it was not what he truly wanted it to sound like. [add citation]
Attempts had been made to convince the label the band was under previously to allow for the re-record to be produced to no avail. As time passed, it was logical to release it on the 10th anniversary of the album after this was achieved.
